Chaos Made is a small handmade goods project for practical household and everyday items. Some ideas arrive because someone says, "I wish I had..." and sometimes, honestly, it came to me in a dream.
What Chaos Made Is
Chaos Made is for useful objects that do a job without being dull about it. The work is intentionally broad enough to move between materials, techniques, and product types, as long as the thing being made has a reason to exist.
Where Ideas Come From
Some ideas start with a real need: there needs to be a better way to store this, carry that, protect something, or keep a bit of daily life tidier. Other ideas start as a conversation, a request, a half-joke, or a suspiciously specific midnight thought.
How It Becomes A Thing
The usual route is discussion, notes, sketches, fabric choices, colour choices, a prototype, a small failure, another prototype, and then something that finally feels good enough to hand over. Sometimes the next sentence is, "You should sell this." So here we are.
Small Batches, Small Differences
Products are made in small batches, often with only a few of a particular colour or fabric combination. Dimensions, finish, and small details may vary because these are handmade goods, not factory-perfect duplicates.
Who Makes It
Right now Chaos Made is a one-person shop, run in spare time and shaped by the useful things people seem to need. If there is something you wish existed, or something you want in a different size or colour, it is worth asking.
Stitch
Stitch is the Chaos Made badger mascot. He appears quietly in the brand, labels, packaging, and site elements without turning the work into novelty goods.
